HOTEL INDIGO YORK BY IHG, York – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room, while advertised as having a view, overlooked a maintenance yard, but it was comfortable despite being hot overnight due to my own oversight on the controls. The constant opening and shutting of the door due to staff activity disrupted our sleep a bit.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and stylish, although the service cupboard outside the room was a bit noisy at times. The location was perfect for exploring the city and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The dining experience was mostly good with attentive staff, but some improvements could be made. Overall, a great value for the money.

Staying in one of the superior premium rooms was a relaxing experience. The rooms were comfy and very clean, although the decor was a bit over the top with the pictures above the beds. The hotel is conveniently located just outside the hustle and bustle, offering good quality amenities like complimentary tea, coffee, and toiletries.
